This time will soon be over
Once a time, there was a
king. The king has very frequent mood swings. I mean, sometimes it is good or
it is bad. This is bad, this is good! In order to remedy this problem, he is
looking for various solutions on how to change his condition.
A
wise man of the kingdom came up with a solution for the king. He carved a
valuable message on a stone that could eliminate the king's problem.
He
said to the king, ‘Your Majesty, I hope you will get the remedy as expected. It
has a message engraved on it that will bring you good news in all your
miserable days and when you forget the reality of the joy, this message will
bring you to reality. '
After
all, the king, the vizier-nazir of the royal court, everyone was shocked! What
is written on the stone that can easily remove all the problems of the king?
Tired and sweating from the pike-pedestrians of the state to the solution of
the problem, what did this man come up with as a solution to that problem?
That
is a special side stone! The word engraved on it was - 'This time will soon be over.'
But
the king did not understand how this could change his mental state. The king
said to the wise man, "I don't understand what you are saying, but you did
not tell me how this stone-carved word would benefit me."
The
man said, ‘Your majesty, you just keep the stone with you. When it comes to
your mental retardation or the onset of extreme joy, you just have to take a
look at the stone. You will understand the rest then. '

afterward, the former king began to be devastated by the attack of another
nearby king. The situation is such that the loss of the state is only a matter
of time! The king was also severely wounded in the battle. The body does not
have the strength to stand up. At that moment the king remembered the stone.
According to the man, the king kept it with him all the time.
He
held the stone in front of his eyes and looked at it well. The words flashed
before his eyes — ‘This time will soon be over ’.
The
word seemed to pull the king from the inside. The king said to himself, 'That's
right! This defeat is temporary. This defeat has an end and in the end, there
is my chance of victory. This time, yes, This time will soon be over. '
This
made the broken king's spirits very happy. He took care of the wounded soldiers,
recruited new soldiers and feudal lords, got involved in the war with full vigour,
and won. The word carved in stone came true in his life. That time of defeat
was soon over.
Then,
the king was overwhelmed with the joy of victory. In celebration of the restoration
of the kingdom, he organized a state-wide festival. The king's days were spent
in festivities, joy, and merriment. Then one day the king remembered the stone
which one day showed him the way to victory from the brink of defeat. The king
held the stone in front of his eyes. That priceless message shone in front of
him again — ‘This time will
soon be over ’.
It
was as if the word immediately brought the king down to reality. He thought,
‘Really! We could be attacked again at any moment. We can lose the kingdom.
Maybe tomorrow I will have to leave the throne and walk in the forest. This
victory is temporary. Maybe there is a big defeat ahead. What is the value of
this joy, this celebration, and merriment with the shadow of defeat on my head?
'
The
king, who was overwhelmed with joy, returned. He realized that the ultimate
reality of life is that no state of life is permanent at all.
